The awards Diamonds of Slovak Business have been recognizing the fastest organically growing SMEs (small and medium enterprises) in Slovakia since 2009. These unique awards, organized by Forbes Slovakia give an insight into one of the most important pillars of the Slovak economy – the SME segment.
Award winners are selected based on objective economic indicators, such as no participation of foreign capital, profitability in the past 3 years, and revenues from 5 to 50 million Eur. The number of employees and revenue growth are also taken into consideration. „This Award cannot be bought, the companies have to earn it!,” says Martin Chocholáček, one of the organizers and vice-president of Enterprise Investors.
At the 11th gala ceremony, the awards were presented to 12 companies in four categories: Western Slovakia, Central Slovakia, Eastern Slovakia, and Bratislava (the capital city). In Bratislava, PIXEL FEDERATION, was chosen as the fastest organically growing company due to its 20 % revenue growth, 33,8 Milion Eur revenues and a strong employee base of over 200 professionals.
